A basic selection of eight blood tests: complete blood count without differential, HbA1c, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, creatinine and ALT. The same selection is available to everyone; it contains no sex-specific hormone tests. The price includes blood collection and the listed laboratory tests. A medical consultation is not included.
An extended selection of blood values: complete blood count with differential; total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides; HbA1c; ALT, AST, GGT, alkaline phosphatase, total bilirubin and albumin; enzymatic creatinine and eGFR calculation; TSH and free T4; vitamin B12, vitamin D (25-OH) and ferritin. The eGFR calculation requires age and sex information for the laboratory. Includes blood collection and the listed laboratory tests. A medical consultation is not included.
A focused selection: complete blood count with differential, vitamin B12, folate (vitamin B9), vitamin D (25-OH), magnesium, zinc, ferritin, iron and transferrin. Includes blood collection and the listed laboratory tests. This is not a measurement of every vitamin or mineral. A medical consultation is not included.
Measure cholesterol and other blood fats that contribute to the assessment of cardiovascular risk. This panel can be used to recheck a previously raised value or to follow changes alongside diet or treatment. Included: total cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides. These values are one part of a cardiovascular risk assessment.
A focused view of circulating iron, iron stores and the protein that transports iron. These tests are used when investigating possible iron deficiency or excess, or to follow previously abnormal values. Included: iron, ferritin and transferrin. Fatigue can have many causes; this panel alone does not establish the cause.
Measures six blood markers used in liver investigations. These measurements can help investigate previously abnormal liver values or monitor them during treatment. Included: ALT, AST, GGT, alkaline phosphatase, total bilirubin and albumin. A marker can change for more than one reason; the panel alone does not establish a diagnosis.

GC Lab performs the blood collection. An independent, accredited medical laboratory in the Netherlands handles transport of the blood samples and carries out the laboratory testing. The laboratory also prepares the results report, including any comments and interpretations accompanying the results.

After collection, your blood samples are analysed in a laboratory. This requires processing time, which depends on the tests selected and cannot be shortened. Please allow at least one working week for your results; some tests take longer. We send you the report by email once your results are available.
